Random false alarms – daytime, nighttime. Totally random alerts.

False alarms began about a year after purchase from Lowe’s. No periodic or environmental pattern to triggering of false alarms.

It kept sounding even though there was no fire and tempature of 78 degrees in the house after sunset. (

Went off when lights closest to alarm were off, no smoke anywhere, no cookout nearby and no cooking in the house. I am a nonsmoker as well.

P1210 troubling shooting

P1210 installed july 2018 and two days ago it beeped 3 or 4 times and this morning it beeped 3 or 4 times again with no smoke or heat of any kind in the house

PC1210 A Total Dud!

10-Year guaranteed CO detector installed on 9/5/15 and screaming at me on 6/24/19. What a dud! I see “Made in Mexico” on the back. Explains a lot around the *** battery technology. Adios First Alert! No need to replace a failed device with another First Alert device that will fail again. E-waste at it’s best!
