While my wife was home one Alarm after an other went of in sequence. Three alarms within minutes of each other. Fire Dept. arrived checked for CO2. none found. Now shopping for better alarm.

I bought some Model P1210 First Alert smoke detectors at Costco. The date on the back of the unit is 2018 Dec 08, which I assume is the date of manufacture. had date of 12/5/18 I installed 2 may 2019 ; 1 malfunctions-continuous beeping, had to deactivate, 2nd malfunctions 7/28/19 continuous beeping. No indications of smoke on either occasion
