I purchased a smoke detector with a 10 year battery life. The manufactured date on the detector is Jan 6, 2017. The smoke detector constantly goes off. It is no good anymore only two and a half years on a ten year battery
Rental unit with multiple P1210 alarm system. All Installed June 2016. One died last year Sept 2018 second one died today 8/17/2019 goes off for no reason. No smoke. No hot air. No humidity. No co2 nothing … beep beep beep …. and in the middle of the night OF COURSE! So much for 10 year life.
Model p1210 was installed Aug 3 2018. It went out on Aug 15 2019. The alarm went off like it detected smoke.
P1210 smoke detectors with dates 04-10-2018, 01-22-18 and 01-22-2018 all failed within a period of 2 months (06-2018 and 07-2018) always during the night. Worse part was the trauma it caused our dog not to mention my wife and I. Can’t believe there was no recall or even a statement from the company.
This P1210 has only been in place for one year. Yesterday and today it sounded the alarm, just once. It is suppose to be good for 10 years. Luckily it has been in the afternoon/evening but if it goes off in the night I’d be really upset. There is no sign of fire or smoke when this...
