Family member passed away Friday 7/30/21. Funeral was scheduled for 10:30am Monday 8/2/21. I am located a 4hr drive away and thought it best to go down on Sunday 8/1/21 and stay at a hotel. All packed, car loaded, I started having severe coughing spasms making me dizzy. I have COPD and wear a wrist alert band. I knew I could not do 4hr having these spasms and tried to cancel reservation. They began demanding a doctors note which I couldn't provide unless I went to Emergency Room. I know my multiple medical issues well enough that I would not go to the ER. They refuse to do anything unless I sent a note. That's where it stands. User's recommendation: DO NOT use reservationcounter.com.
