It was at Chic Punta Cana and Grand Memories Splash Resorts. Constant harrassing and begging to attend their meeting. They present the deal as vacation savings show you what you can save. The presentations are well played. After you sign, give hefty deposits you think it's a good deal but wait until you try to use it. It will be past the 5 day contract clause for no refund, and if you do try to cancel they will talk you out of it until it is past the 5 days. They will present you with another way to see the savings that you will be rewarded and talk you out of it. At that point they will cancel your membership and keep your deposit and whatever monthly premiums you have paid. When you to use your free stay, or just book a vacation without the free stay it will ALWAYS cost more than if you just book it online it with your travel agent. It is impossible to get them to communicate with you as to an explanation why this is the case and then they stop responding except to say you can cancel your membership but no refund of any kind. I have booked 3 vacations since my purchase and not once utilized my membership because it cost mor than if i booked it myself just through the Sunwing travel site on my own or a travel agent. On top of that at Memories Splash I was approached again by a travelsmart employee to attend another meeting and when I told them I was already a member they asked me to attend the meeting anyway and not tell them that, and when the presentation was over to decline and lie stating i just bought a house, or have to pay for my kids upcoming wedding so it is not a good time for this purchase. This representative needed to make their quota expectation, or lose their job. Sunwing should be asshamed if themselves. They are already a wealthy company and they make hundreds of thousands of dollars by stealing hard working peoples money by the 5 day cancellation clause where they get to keep the deposits and premiums you've paid. It is definatley not enough time to figure out their scam. I have been loyal to Sunwing Travel for over 20 years and this is jow they repay your loyalty by stealing your deposits for a product that you can never use as it has been presented to you!!!! Stay Away from them!
