I purchased our vacation club in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. I was told that the points were retained from year to year and would build up; this was not true as I discovered after the fact. The sales person also stated we could sell our points for any year that we could not use the points; this was not true either. In fact, to sell the idea, the sales person actually called someone on the phone and had the person to verify the statement; the person that was called was part of the scam. I have been paying the fees each year believing that I cannot get out of the contract. However, I feel that I was tricked and the sales person lied in order to get a signed contract. I have never been able to utilize the vacation club, not once. The entire Royal Holiday Vacation Club is a scam.
