Calling John Hancock for basic information is a nightmare, and I am grateful I left them. They use a foreign call center and you can not ever understand a word they say. I disaster in communication and glad i am free of them

Been messing with John Hancock since January. (It is now May). They are “processing the claim…it takes 30 to 60 days” and I’m at over 80 days at this point. Their customer service is a joke. Luckily I don’t need the proceeds from the annuity…huge time suck!! User’s recommendation: Stay away.
