Have not contacted anyone but bought two together in one package that I still have. Couldn’t get them to work after installing.
Installed 4 if them in July 2016 date of manufacture was 19 Oct 2015 purchased at Lowes in July 2016. Jan 2017 #1 goes bad Aug 2017 #2 goes bad Feb 2019 #3 goes bad
Our First Alert smoke alarm was rated for ten years. It started singing its death chant after only four. I contacted First Alert customer service. They sent me two replacement units, no charge, no shipping charges. They are now installed. Stay posted. No, I’m not pissed.
