I purchased 4 2-packs from Costco about 1 year ago. Says 10yr battery life. All of them have failed due to low batterie power!
Was awakened at 5:30am by Smoke Alarm signal. Took unit down checked for smoke (none) checked gas flame in H2O heater, all good. Blew any dust out (none existent) Reinstalled 20-minutes later 3 beep alarm again followed by 4 chirps.
