4 of them failed after 3 months.Will never buy First Alert products again
Purchased this unit in the summer of 2018. 1 year later, the battery is going dead and the alarm is waking us up in the middle of night with multiple beeps. Terrible product- waste of money. Paid the extra $ to get a long lasting product- obviously not the case.
Bought and installed Oct. 12, 2016. Unit stamped Sept. 18, 2016. On Aug. 6, 2019 the unit started the three beep warning indicating the end of its 10 year life. This less than 3 years, NOT 10 years. Done with First Alert.
Beeping for no reason and can not get them to stop. Nice way to wake up. Do not buy this product.
Date: August 23, 2019 The smoke detector model P1210E went off this morning for no apparent reason: no smoke, no humidity, no showers running, no appliances running in the house, no heater/heat pump. No changes in lighting. The date on the inside is stamped 2019 Apr 01. The other smoke detectors sensed nothing. This unit was purchased...
