Question about if Standard filters take lead out of tap water

Found out, very disappointed ,that Standard filters do NOT TAKE LEAD out of tap water. Only Long Lasting filters take out lead. I have been buying, and even just recently just bought a three pack of Standard. There may be a problem with our tap water in my building, so they suggest buying bottled or filtered water.... Needed to Know if Standard filters filter out lead

I just purchased 3 Standard filters for my Brita Grand Pitcher, thinking they filter out lead. We were told in my building, their may be traces of lead in the water.
