Found out, very disappointed ,that Standard filters do NOT TAKE LEAD out of tap water. Only Long Lasting filters take out lead. I have been buying, and even just recently just bought a three pack of Standard. There may be a problem with our tap water in my building, so they suggest buying bottled or filtered water....

I just purchased 3 Standard filters for my Brita Grand Pitcher, thinking they filter out lead. We were told in my building, their may be traces of lead in the water. I have bought 3 Brita bottle in the past 2 months, all through Amazon. One of the bottle filter isn’t working through the suction pipe. Was hoping to get some support on it. Thanks
Bought a brand new Brita pitcher and it consistantly produces black specks in my water. That’s the exact opposite effect one os going for when spending money on a fricking FILTER! My tap water is CLEAR! Brita SUCKS and is not only a waste of money, but a straight out lie and scam! Very angry and annoyed...
