Disheartened and violated

I ordered a free trial sample of InstantElixir skin product (“just pay shipping”) on May 10, 2018. Shipping was $4.95. I ordered a second product from them on the same day, same price for the shipping and the same free trial. What is not clear, or obvious, upon ordering is, if you don’t return the unused product with on 14 days, you will be charged $88.989 for each product. Apparently, or so I’m told by the company, by agreeing to the shipping, you agree to pay the full price for the product at the end of the 14 days. The product was ordered as a “free trial”. I have returned to the web site and still can not find any such wording in the agreement. Consequently, and much to my surprise, on the 24th of May and the 25th of May, I was hit with a credit card charge of $89.98. a charge that has a great impact on me. I am a senior and on a limited budget. Contacting the company was futile. Absolutely no intention of working with me, just insisting over and over, “sorry it is a legal transaction”. It is infuriating to do business with a company who had deliberately designed a marketing plan to take advantage of honest hard working and unexpecting people. I am reporting this to the Better Business Bureau, hoping to get some satisfaction.
