A potential buyer ran a CarFax on my vehicle and advised that an accident was reported on May 31st, 2019. I have owned the car for past 2 years and have not reported an accident on my vehicle. I also contacted my insurance company to confirm the I did not file a claim on my vehicle on that date and that no other person has filed a claim against my vehicle. I have sent 2 emails to CarFax to correct their mistake over the past several weeks with no response, because of the no response, I lost the sale. User's recommendation: CarFax cannot be fully trusted on their reports.
