Despite gentle use and proper storage, the plastic of the hinge joint of my limited edition QuietComfort wireless headphones dry-rotted and broke off, leaving the ear cup hanging. When I contacted Bose support, I was offered a non-limited edition replacement pair for the same price listed on other websites. When I declined to accept this offer, I was then ignored by Bose Customer Service and not offered any other solution. User's recommendation: Be aware that if you spend the price for Bose headphones, you are not getting top-of-the-line quality or adequate customer support.
