Steinhafel’s delivery damages home and hides damage!

We took delivery of a sectional almost two weeks ago. When the ottoman was brought upstairs we noticed damage to one of the legs. The delivery crew was very anxious to call customer service to set up a repair of replacement. We did hear a bang, but we are in a new townhouse development, with construction happening on either side of us with lots of banging daily. Well after they left, the very next day we saw our damaged wall....the corner bead was crushed and the paint markings on the wall are a 100% match to our ottoman leg. We called customer service, sent them pictures of the wall....they keep saying we signed the acceptance documents, and that they will do nothing for us! The crew hit our wall hard and anxiously set up a repair to the ottoman and repeatedly blamed the crew who loaded their truck! They went out of their way not to disclose the damage that they 100% caused. I figured that Steinhafel's would understand and help us out with the damaged wall, wow was I wrong! They do not accept responsibility for anything even with overwhelming proof and evidence. I have spent nearly $20,000 over the years with Steinhafels and this is how I get treated? Stay away from this company, far far away. Their customer service is terrible and their integrity is even worse. They take your money, then they take you for a ride! Jim Sakas
