Resolved: Air Canada Vacations sub standard hotel and ground transportation

First, the good. Flights both ways (went to London, England) were good. Now the bad: I accept that I chose the cheapest hotel offering in their packages. However, it turned out that the so called "hotel" was just a hostel, and a poor one. Our bathroom had no toilet paper, we did not receive towels every day, the room had a bed pushed up against one wall, only sheets and a thin dirty looking comforter, hot water only in the morning, dirty floresent strip light on the ceiling and no other light, garbage from previous occupants was in the dresser drawer, no chair to sit on (there wasn't room for one), the included breakfast was very poor. We pre-paid for ground transportation to and from the "hotel". The trip in was fine. The return trip a problem: the pick up company was over an hour late, the driver drove down the wrong side of the road past two police cars, who gave chase and pulled us over. The driver talked his way out of a ticket, but we were subjected to police scrutiny before proceding to the airport. I reported all this to Air Canada Vacations. They contacted the transfer company who completely lied about what happened, and it appears Air Canada belives them and not us! As for the so called hotel, Air Canada denies any respnsibility, has noted our concerns, and offered a $150 credit each (there were two of us) towards a future trip. I do not want a credit,except for a refund of half of the ground transportation. I want Air Canada Vacations to appologise for offering sub-standard accommodations, and to stop listing this facility for future customers.
