I need to verify checks because some of my checks came up missing after I put in my 2 week notice. This went on for over a month of my check not being found. I got with the owner and asked him to verify how many checks I should have received while employed there. I was told I need to prove that I was missing and check first. This statement contradicts my efforts. I would need to know how many checks he wrote me in order to determine if any were missing. On the day I put in my 2 week notice he said I just got a raise. I recieved my next check that had no raise but also was MIA for about 2 weeks. Assumed he was getting the check rewritten without the raise User's recommendation: Don't believe the owner without verifying facts first. He is a snake in the grass.
