No resolutions or options with Ace Bayou (Xrocker chairs)

I purchased two xrocker chairs from wal-mart right before Christmas '07 for my step-sons. The chairs were great and the boys loved them. However, a couple months ago, the seam where the chair bends started to rip apart. This is with normal use. Now, 2 months later, they are completely ripped apart. The information that came with the chairs says for you not to take them back to the store, for you to call the company. I contacted the company, Ace Bayou, and was told that I needed to email pictures. So I did. Then I was told that I needed to supply a copy of my original sales receipt. I told them that I didn't have the receipt, I don't keep receipts that long. I was told that there was nothing that they could do for me without the receipt. I told them I would be more than happy to send the old chairs back, but was told no, without the receipt nothing. I can't believe the rudeness I encountered or the total lack of customer service. I purchased their item and it was shotty and then they don't even want to make it right. Unbelievable. Now I am stuck with two ripped apart chairs that will either need to be duct taped or thrown in the trash. I wish I could upload the pictures for you all to see. Beware before you buy!
