NICOr said I was disrespectful after making me wait 3.5 hours

I pay for yearly maintenance of my furnace, and scheduled service for Thurs. NICOR said they'd call between 3-5pm prior to arriving for my apt. After re-arranging my entire day and rushing around to be home during that window, I never heard a word from them. At 5:01pm, I called and their "customer care" person contacted the technician. He was still an hour away at another call. I said "what a moron, he couldn't have called?" She responded "Now you're being disrespectful". WTF!?!?! I said "Me? Disrespectful? You just blew 2 hours of my life (not to mention the hassle of re-arranging my work schedule-blowing 1/2 day vacation), skipping a work-out, and rushing thru hospital and medical apts.)" She responded "Now you're making this personal!" YOU DAMNED RIGHT IT'S PERSONAL. It's inconsiderate and a personal affront to me that the technician could not take the 5 seconds to call to say he'd likely miss the 3-5:00 window. GRRRR never again. I'm cancelling the service and calling a professional company.
