New FS1 wont connect

I buy this fs1 toy for $149 I get it and it won't connect to my phone no matter what I do. Thinking maybe if I spend $150 this thing should work User's recommendation: There's got to be something wrong with the receiver on the product I don't know but it won't connect to my phone other people are having problems too.
