High pressure claim jumpers

while awaiting for hospice to be set up for a niece, my 89 y.o. mother was contacted and pressured to choose vitas, even though she then would not be able to visit the niece due to distance. mom does not have dpoa or med. advocacy for niece but, is the only relative in the area. turns out that a son w/ med. advocacy had already decided on another hospice and vitas was trying to pressure my mother for a different decision by playing on her emotions. the added stress during an already difficult time has caused a medical condition to flare up. not only does vitas not care about the patient, they will use underhanded tactics to get patients in the first place. their business practices are predatory and should be shunned by the industry as well as consumers.
