WHY buy top dollar appliances when the service is so subpar?

I purchased a month old Kitchen Aid Stove from someone and didn't realize it was not propane. To get through what Kitchen Aid considers customer service, disgustingly long hold times, and people that don't seem to know what they are talking about, it does not seem to be a brand I want to deal with. I wanted to match the stove, so I went and bought a Fridge that was coming in July. Needless to say, I am canceling that order!
