Unsatisfied and dissappointed

We used to have a brick and mortar Dewalt repair shop here locally and it worked great. Our tools were back to us and making money in no time. This is my first time using ServiceNet and so far my tools have been gone for over a month and they are all apparently being repaired at the factory maximum overhaul cost. Nothing could be fixed with a switch or brushes or a cord. The old shop could make them good as new for a 1/3 of what this is costing me. And don't bother with customer no-service at Dewalt Service Net. They deflect everything back to the repair facility and don't have any skin in the game as far as getting your tools back to you in a reasonable amount or at a reasonable cost. This has really diminished what was a really great brand to me. This is not a change for the better. Ever been to a transmission shop? This is just like that. No matter how simple the problem is, you have to get your transmission completely rebuilt. They should just change it to an exchange program where you turn in you broken tool and buy a remanufactured one because this is all Service Net is turning out to be. User's recommendation: I would probably only use for warranty going forward. Look at different brands that are supported better.
