Unneccessary Profanity and Degrading Remarks – Business to Business Transaction

Millers Automotive in Tewksbury Mass. Art Miller of Millers Automotive in Tewksbury Mass contacted our Business for a price on a product. We took the time to prepare two professional price quotes and emailed them to Art. Near the end of the business day on 10-29-13 I called Millers Automotive and Spoke with Art. Art told us that our prices were to high and used abusive language, we asked Art for the code on the advertising and tried to explain that the Heaters we sell are price controlled by the Factory (Truth - They have all dealers Sign a Minimum Advertised Price Agreement). Arts response to this truth was that we are lying piece of s_ _ _ salesmen. Let it be known that good old Art threw a tantrum today, Art has an explosive side and a short fuse. Let it be known that he went online and made Fraudulent complaints about innocent business owners that were just trying to follow up on a quote. The Heater in question is a an MX-150-WASTE-OIL-HEATER-9963C. The minimum advertised price is $5,099.00 as of 10-29-13. The truth is that no other company can advertise lower than this price and this peaceful debate turned into ugly when Art didn't get his way. I would have gladly offered a lower price, and never had the chance. Simply trying to explain in a calm manner with facts, lead to false complaints about my company online. I can tell that we are prepared to defend and have the resources to do so. We want to make sure that everyone has a clear picture of how Art will behave towards other vendors when he doesn't get his way. Be prepared for retaliation and unwarranted slander if you cross Art.
