I had my identity stolen a while back and yesterday received a voicemail that my driver's license was used to rent a car that has not been returned and now it's grand theft auto. I didn't even know what Turo was until yesterday. The # they left when googled brought up no such anything regarding a "Turo private investigator" and being a victim of identity theft already - I've not returned the call since my driver's license is not even active in massachusetts - I moved to Florida last year and that's not the license they recited on the voicemail - they cited the Massachusetts license. I don't even know if this is true or not about this alleged rental car. I want to speak to someone from Turo directly from a verifiable Turo phone number to discuss this immediately.
