I took an Internorte coach from Portugal to France. On the first coach the toilet was locked but I was told we would be changing vehicle half way across Spain. I changed coach to find that toilet also locked. When I asked the driver he said we would be stopping soon so hang on! We did not stop and after 8 hours without a pee, I asked again for the key. Reluctantly, he gave me the key. When I entered the toilet I could see why. It was disgusting. Not fresh "poo" but "poo" that was black with age that had not been cleaned for months. I returned the key to the driver and complained to him. His answer, it was not his bus so he was not responsible. I said that most good coach firms instruct their drivers to check the condition of the bus and it's cleanliness before departure. Not this one I was told! I complained to Eurolines as Internorthe are part of their group but was told by the french staff that it was nothing to do with them and to contact Internorthe in Portugal. I could not email them as their system does not allow more than a few words and no 'photo uploads!!! I wrote to them but got no answer.
