There is no way to tell them that I’ll not be able to use my reservation and get a refund

Please cancel my reservation for tonight because this morning (1:00am Miami time) at the American Airlines Madrid- Airport , counter, I was told that Spanish passport holders, with ESTA, Negative COVID19 Certificate and EU Digital COVID19 Certificate cannot enter the U.S.A. User's recommendation: Beware! Confirmations@***.com gets in the supposedly secure communication and charges an extra $50 to your reservation.
