Original review updated by user Jul 12, 2021 Went to Portillo's in Merrillville, IN yesterday. Saying that place was the worst service I EVER received. There was only one cashier and about 30 people in line waiting to order. There were 3 managers that I saw that was just walking around doing NOTHING. Received my food, got it home, and the order was awful. The burger was cold and looked and tasted like they boiled them. When picking up my order, there was about 2 dozen orders bagged and just sitting there getting cold. They had about a little over 2 dozen people working and all of them seem like this was their first day on the job. This place was for sure dysfunction and not organized. Compared to the last owner, this place is a MESS! User's recommendation: This place is not worth spending your money at!
