Phil gives you a price to complete your project and then they fall way short on materials and then asks you to pay thousands more. They also missed my start date by two weeks (took 8 weeks for them to start my job). If they want a deposit then demand to have your materials delivered asap. Do not sign the contract unless everything is line item, they like to give you a single price and then later the pricing changes per item. If it's grass then ask for the grass price, if it's pavers then ask for the paving price, etc. They were about to install my grass over sand, which is wrong way to install grass! Phil says the workers are his workers but from what I can tell the workers are just workers Phil hires to do the jobs. Do some research on BR Builders LLC and you'll find an odd trail via AZ ROC and AZ Corp Commission. Phil is not the owner, Chris Papoutsis is and for some reason Chris is regsitered owner to a bunch of business names. This contractor is sketchy at best, you can use them but you should heed what I just wrote.
