Unfortunately I got the date of my appointment wrong & showed up a week early. Snowed the previous evening and traffic was horrendous. There was also a Covid-19 vaccine clinic & the line to get into the garage was around the block going 2 different directions. The visitor line to enter the hospital for security was also up the ramp & out the door. As soon as I showed up the receptionist started arguing with me....I tried to remain calm & talk nicely to her. She was right & I was wrong & she was letting me have it. I said I must be here on the wrong day & she tried to say I needed to be @ another hospital....would not let me speak. She then said that my appointment is @ 9 am that day (it is now 9:06 am); "JUST TO LET YOU KNOW IF YOU ARE MORE THAN 10 MINUTES LATE SHE WONT SEE YOU"! Yes.....Ms. Nasty I have control over the weather, traffic & patients scrambling to get their vaccines! I think I interrupted her Facebook or Instagram session as the entire room was almost black-only one light on....a little frightening to enter the totally darkened office! Where is the compassion...the caring...the understanding that should come with that job. The office sent me 8 pages (both sides so a total of 16 pages) of paperwork to complete & she didn't want to take it from me.....she said "SHE PROBABLY WON'T NEED THIS"! *** your office sent it to me...I took the time to complete it...you better take it! I stewed about her rudeness for 5 days & canceled the appointment because I didn't want to face her rudeness again! This witch needs some additional or preliminary training......better yet.....she should get a personalty! User's recommendation: Choose another gastroenterology practice.
