Across street is a 87 year old 2 time VN vet, He had these guys do a brake job. This turned out OK except they told him the wheel bearings were bad and charges him $800.00. Then told him they could fix all the leaks on his 197* 450SL mercates . Well they took him for $3900.00. 2 weeks later, when he took it back because it still leaked, they told him to leave it and it would be ready in 5 days. 35 days later they call and said it was done and it would be another $1300.00. They even said they were going to wash it because he was such a good customer. When we got there, the city was almost ready to haul it off because they parked it in the street at a RED curb. And it was not washed. Got it home, well almost, you see he had filled the tank 2 days before he took it back in. I know because I was there. but now it was bone dry. This guy, Kevin @ brakes Plus 18415 N 35th Ave Phoenix. 602 298-**** Even told us that he had taken the car to Atwood Auto shop because that was a place that worked on mercadies cars. Said they paid them $2000.00 to tune it up for him. Now it misses more than ever. This poor guy has no where to turn and is out $6000.00 and only a brake job to show. that is the only thing that seems to work. If you know a vet... tell them this is no place to take your car.
