I have had a horrible experience with a brand new fridge I purchased. I own multiple Frigidaire products, I am a loyal customer, and I have never had an issue till now. I have spent over 20 hours on hold and still do not have a resolution. My elderly parents have been with out a fridge of over 4 months. Here is a timeline of the issue. December 2020 (upon closing of our condo) buy a Frigidaire refrigerator Model FFHT1835VSO. Register Refrigerator with Frigidaire. February 3, 2021 - Called to let Frigidaire know that the brand new fridge I bought in December was broken and making sounds. Does not stay cold lost all food. February 9, 2021 - First appointment scheduled to fix refrigerator. Had to be rescheduled because I put down the wrong zip code and they have to reschedule the appointment automatically. February 16, 2021 - Service appointment finally occurs. Told we needed a new fan, would take 2 weeks to get parts and then 2 weeks to install. March 5, 2021 - Appointment scheduled for fixing the fan. Fan replaced, fridge dies 12 hours later again, lost all food. March 9, 2021 - Service tech comes out again says it is the compressor and needs to order parts again. March 24, 2021 - Service tech cancels service because it snows. Fridge is still not working, miss work waiting for the tech all day. April 12, 2021 - Compressor replaced, tech tells me that the compressor is bad and that I should be approved for a new fridge. Tech says to call 2 days later to schedule new fridge delivery. April 14, 2021 - Call, on hold for an hour, to tell me the tech didn't write the notes correctly and that I need a review for the fridge replacement, but it will take 5 to 7 business days. Call tech asking them to add the notes to the case or if I called the wrong number, no response. April 23, 2021 - Call again because I did not get an email about next steps. I wait on hold for an hour and a half. She promises me she will call me with a status update (so I don't have to be on hold again) and she escalates the replacement to her manager. Tells me it will take 3 days to get a decision. She says she will call me either way, never calls. May 4, 2021 - Never got a call from the agent so I call Frigidaire again. Agent told me that the request wasn't even submitted till the 30th. He promises I receive an email that week. Never receive an email. May 16, 2021 - still haven't received an email, any correspondence, or any phone calls. I have spent over 20 hours on hold just making phone calls. I get an anxiety attack every time I have to call. Still do not have a working refrigerator.
