I needed my primary Dr to send over a prior authorization for my endocrinologist to cover a medical bill. So I called my primary and on Monday, June 11, 2018 they sent the fax over. I called Tuft the next day June 12th and they said they never got it! I called my primary to make sure and they sent it again. I called Tuft again June 13th and got the same response we never got it! This went on every day for the next week. I smarted up and did a 3-way call between my Primary and Tufts. They transferred us around to different departments and finally got in touch with the Provider Services department. They couldn't help me because they only speak to the Dr office and since I was doing the 3-way call they hung up on me. There is a lot more going on than what I have described here, but Tufts really has an issue. Today is June 22 and this issue still in resolved. All I'm trying to do is get my have Tufts cover a medical bill that I'm covered for. I should have to have my primary sent faxes every day to a new fax number for them to come back and say oh we didn't get it!
