I shipped an 8,000 dollar motor from Maryland to North Carolina nicely strapped on two pallets and wrapped. When it was delivered in North Carolina the driver even wrote on the Bill Of Lading that the motor was damaged. It was so bad that it broke both pallets and caused 1100 dollars worth of damage, and they are only willing to give me the cost of shipping and 500 dollars because it was a used engine and I didn't get the extra coverage. This is crazy no one thinks to get the extra coverage because if your driver didn't drive like a crazy person the engine would have never been damaged!! User's recommendation: Do not ship with them they are cheap for a reason.
