Not honoring agreement
I brought this vacation club package September 2018 in Negril Jamaica , I was given two certificates for use at separate times , when I was making the reservation I was told that I could not use it during that season even though I had it in writing, well they finally decided to to honor the agreement but I had to use the full week instead. This confirmation came December 15th for use in January . Well long story short I was having a knee replacement and informed TravelSmart in writing that I needed to cancel and would like to travel at a later date. I tried making reservations 13 days ago and was told that I didn’t show up and that the reservations were never cancelled, then they said because I didn’t cancel 30 days out I wasn’t entitled to the free week. I asked where does it say you have to give a 30 day notice . I have been waiting for someone at TravelSmart to get back with me as I have expressed that I need to make reservations as I am going to a memorial May 19. I even said to cancel my contract I would take a loss on whatever I have spent they told me that I paid 90% already and it wouldn’t make sense, but here they have taken my money but I cannot get what was promised.
