UPS Store has started charging for any amount of tape. I brought in a package to return, and they wanted $1 to tape it. Keep in mind that 24 inches of packing tape costs them about 2 cents. So, they aren't just trying to cover their tape costs, they are trying to make money off of customers. I used to use them to send 90% of my packages use them due to the convenience, but they have lost my business from now on.
