La Quinta has not responded or contacted me in any way. So nothing has been done about this matter and probably won’t ever get it resolved.

So as far as I'm concerned after hearing and gaining knowledge of other complaints similar to what happened to me leaves me with the conclusion that the hotel management steals money from whomever they choose to by not providing any kind of receipt and telling customers and consumers that they have violated some type of hotel policy therefore being able to kick them out of their room that is paid for in full plus keeping any deposit that was left or required.
