Horrible phone system

I have been a Saks customer for so many years and never had this nonsense with their phone system. I don't understand why I can't get a live person to get me to the department I need. It took several tries, both the operator and a department I could get to thinking I could be transferred rang more than 20 times! This is the worst of the worst service ever! User's recommendation: go to the store or give up! Since there is no store in NJ, I will be at Neiman's or Bloomingdales where they have live people.
