When I joined Health World Benoni in Nov 2005 very few people were interested. I negotiated a contract with Health world to pay a membership fee/rate of R119.00 per month for the rest of my life. This would continue until Health world had concluded a deal with Discovery for their members. As a Discovery medical aid member I get a benefit of paying only R55.00 at Virgin Active or Planet Fitness. They promised me that they will conclude this deal soon. This never happened. They have now decided to reneg on this agreement and dont want to honor it anymore.They want me now to pay the new current rates that are very high.
