Harassing and charging money for subscription

So in 2020 I wrote them an email that I would not be continuing the subscription, but they never replied now they are harassing me either pay for 12 months or they'll report to debt consolidation- what is wrong with these companies how can someone pay if they don't want to watch movies. This is happening and forcing to pay. I have a kid and I don't want to go and watch in theaters. User's recommendation: Never.
