Ford poor after sales service

I went to Ford Manila last Nov. 16 2009 to have my Ford Everest Serviced for 20K KM. I arrived at around 9:30 a.m. I learned that they do not accept drive in service but only through appointment. I made an appointment for the next day at 9:00 a.m. I arrived At 8:30 a.m. the next day (November 17, 2009) to make sure that I'll be there before 9:00 a.m. on time for my appointment. Everything went fine. I talked to the service guy and he said that the car will be ready around after lunch. Hmmm... so I thought thats good, just like the service of Toyota Otis which I find very good. I also have an Altis which I bring to Toyota Otis for service and they are great! 2-3 hours, its done. No appointment needed. Around 12 noon I received a text from the service guy informing me that my Ford Everest will be ready at 5:00 p.m.. He told me that its only now (12 noon) that they have started to service my Everest. They gave me an appointment at 9:00a.m. and they only started to check my car at 12:00 noon? If they can not start in at 9:00 a.m. then why did they give me an appointment at that time? I find this very inappropriate and rude. No respect for other peoples time. I'm sure they have serviced other customers first. The ones they know. Palakasan in short... I also learned that there are certain services that they outsource like camber alignment which I find weird. If they will have my car fixed somewhere else then I'll just bring my car there my self. It defeats the purpose of bringing your car to the "casa". 8 Hours just for 20K km check up is unacceptable. Poor after sales service. DO NOT BUY FORD VEHICLE if you don't want to suffer poor service for their vehicle. Maybe this is why Ford still in not successful in the Philippines. Always remember... SERVICE IS THE KEY...
