Fire Safety Hazard

My backup Insignia Micro USB 3.0 Charge Cable (NS MUSB3B) for my phone melted and burned my carpet. This happened January 2021 and after filing many complaints, they assigned an adjuster who went to my house and investigated the cable and flooring. The product was manufactured by Luxshare Precision Industry Co. under the BBY PLI program. So far, they will not pay for my carpet replacement. User's recommendation: Best Buy will not honor damages due to defective product (poor design or manufacturing defect).
