i have been doing most of the cooking since my wife developed a medical problem. what i have discovered is disturbing; the amount of fat in a package of bacon, which includes the phrase "hand trimmed for premium quality." i estimate the amount of grease in the pan after cooking 8 slices, is more than an ounce, which is not good for old guys (of which i am one) with heart problems. i don't think i'll switch brands; i think i'll just stop eating bacon. don bluhmnonenone just stop eating bacon. i';;
