Very disappointed with this service. We received text and emails even as late as that morning, saying the tech will be out that day between 0800-3:00. We called Best Buy at 2:30 in which the tech called us back around 3 PM only to tell us he checked with the store and the camera wasn’t there so he won’t be coming out. (1) Why did we receive this email that morning saying the “tech has this product and is coming out”, then find out he DOESN’T have the product and is NOT coming out? And why did I have to be the one to initiate the call to find this out? (2) Why wouldn’t the tech check with the store first thing in the morning to find out if the product is there? (3) Why didn’t the tech call us to update the no product/no show? We waited all that time, rescheduled our appts to be here at his time. We are extremely dissatisfied with this outcome. Best Buy needs to get rid of the undependable “3rd party” contractors in order to save the Best Buy reputation. We are Elite members and pay for the Total Support program. We expected better.
