Rocket told me that my app was all approved and all that remained to be done was the appraisal. I was trying to borrow less than 50% of the full value of our home. No second loan. After 2 1/2 months they told me that they could not get an appraisal because all of the appraisers were too busy! Hard to believe such a flimsy excuse. Rocket advertises heavily in my market here in the Silicon Valley of California. It is impossible that a company as large as Rocket can't get an appraisal. User's recommendation: Run don't walk to get away from Rocket mortagage.
