Domo pays no taxes
Hello! I worked in the Domo store for 6 months, I left because of my low salary. I recently visited my old colleagues and it turns out that it has been found that Domo does not pay taxes on employees. The main thing is that about 75 USD appeared very nicely on the salary page every month, which seems to go into taxes, so no one had any suspicions. This injustice was revealed only because one employee had to file some kind of tax relief documents. It is good that I only worked there for half a year, others have been working there for a couple of years and now they don't know what to do, because it turns out that they work illegally and therefore cannot go to the unemployed. Employees sent a letter to the "big "bosses, they arrived and held a small meeting with 4 people. The main conclusion after the meeting is that it is more profitable for them to pay a penalty for non-payment of taxes than to pay the taxes themselves. This is the last piece of information I know in this regard so far, perhaps something has changed. It should be added that I believe that the state is also a bit guilty in this situation - obviously the penalties are too small, if it is already more advantageous for employers to chase the state than to pay taxes. Luckily, I'm still a long way from retirement, so this half year doesn't change much in my life, but I think maybe I can help someone else with this information.
