First time ko magshop sa shopee pero nascam. saklap! Nagbayad ako ng buo 19k para sa laptop kay seller sa shopee. I requested COD pero payment first daw. Not satisfied with the response that they are not responsible because the transaction made was outside of their platform. How do buyers know that that they chat outside of their platform?

They disclaim responsibility for the return of down payment paid by the seller to their seller and they claim that the transaction was made outside of their platform.
