Part exploded

I have a large griddle and the part that plugs into it to heat it up exploded! It was so load and scared me so bad I started crying. I had my 3 year old granddaughter spending the night and was making us grilled chees sandwiches when this happened!

Was cooking some beef and the cooker popped open.

was cooking some beet for stew and all the sudden the cooker top seal popped open and made an electrical short in the kitchen.
