was cooking some beet for stew and all the sudden the cooker top seal popped open and made an electrical short in the kitchen. Looks like the small over pressure rubber seal on top of the cover popped and made this explosion sound. this is the 3rd time this happened and I am not sure if the cooker came defective or the seal is not snug enough to the cover. I would like Presto look at this matter more closely before some one get really hurt. I am not pleased with this product for it seems to be dangerous and too expensive for its performance.
