Charged for service when it didn’t work

And kept taking out auto pay after I asked them to cancel service. Now won’t cancel without some email document when service didn’t work for years. Says I never called and must have called the wrong place.

Moni is fraudulent! Don’t give in to their unethical threats!

I agree, Monitronics is a fraudulent company! The same thing happened to me. I sold my home a month ago and I called “Moni” to discontinue the service and they claim I have an 18 month contract I am obligated to pay whether I have their security system or not. Cannot cancel this service no matter how hard I try

I cancelled in Nov. 2017. The customer service person said they would email me a document to send back. Never got an email and forgot – thought it was cancelled.
